Today Colchester Responded to the West side of Babcock Pond for a brush fire.
There was no access from land, so CHFD launched 2 boats with equipment to the area, and extinguished the fire. Thanks to DEP for support and equipment.

Units responded to a stove fire at Wendy's today. A gas stove valve had a failure, leaked gas, and ignited infront of the stove.
Workers extinguished the fire with a dry chemical extinguisher.

Gilman Brothers - Bozrah - CHFD, along with a dozen other departments responded to Bozrah this morning to fight a stubborn fire, located in a stack of styrofoam boards. ET128, HT128, T128, L128 All responded. Time of tone to 2 Trucks on the air - 6 minutes. Time from CHFD to scene - 8 Minutes. First Due, having to wait for everyone else to leave - timeless....
